Department of Pulmonary Medicine
About the department:

Pulmonary Medicine department of KMCH is an important branch for treating respiratory diseases in Kokrajhar and the neighbouring districts of Western Assam. The department's aim is to treat diseases such as asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, lung cancer, sleep apnoea, pneumonia and all other respiratory diseases. The department has its OPD and IPD in Respiratory Medicine, RNTCP/DOTS OPD, DMC, and a Smoking Cessation Clinic. Future plans include upgrades to respiratory critical care services, endobronchial USG, medical thoracoscopy, and sleep laboratory services.
