About the department:

The Department of Physiology started along with the inception of KMCH in 2023. It is one of the premier departments of Kokrajhar Medical College housed in the beautiful academic building. The department is committed to providing medical education and training to undergraduate and post graduate medical students and also of various other courses including paramedical, nursing and BDS courses. The department aims at academic as well as research activity in the fields of neurophysiology, pulmonary physiology in accordance with the students’ requirements for training activities in respective laboratories in the department. It also has a goal for upgradation to serological and molecular facilities, haematology laboratory, human physiology laboratory, mammalian and amphibian laboratory and eperimental physiology laboratory.
