Department of Ophthalmology
About the department:

The department of Ophthalmology of Kokrajhar Medical College, since its inception in 2023, is dedicated for specialty service to the mankind in the entire Western Assam and bordering districts of North Bengal. Presently with four excellent faculty members, the department aims at delivering specialized ophthalmic services at tertiary level, manpower development, health education & rehabilitation of blinds, eye bank services, community ophthalmology and research in problems of eye diseases. The department is fully equipped with a dedicated modular operation theatre with all surgical instruments, high power microscope, slit lamp etc.
